People are concerned about the title I chose for my blog. You need to understand the meaning behind it.
I intend to have a short battle with cancer. It will be a "short part of my life."
The title I created was designed to grab your attention and make you think about the alternative. Cancer can cut a life short. My intent is to have a short time in my life with it.
The things I am doing to make this happen:
1. Eat healthy
2. Exercise intensely.
3. Find time to relax.
4. Sleep as needed.
5. Find and receive the best care.

- I found out I had Hurthle Cell cancer on December 20, 2007, on my father's 70th birthday. This cancer can have a mortality rate in the 50-65% rate within 5 years, with a median life expectancy of 38 months. I am in the high risk group, but after almost three years, I am optimistic that I will live a long life.
